Production

From early arrangement choices to final performances, I help shape songs so they hit harder emotionally and technically before the mix stage even begins.

What do artists say about me?

Fed is absolutely fantastic at what he does and his input to our projects is invaluable.

The attention to detail throughout the entire process from pre-production to recording, mix and master is on a level unmatched to anywhere we have been before. Fed always makes himself available to discuss ideas, developments or concerns with the project along the way.

Who the hell is Fed then?

That'd be me! I am a producer, songwriter, mixing and mastering engineer with more of 13 years of experience based in beautiful Kelham Island, Sheffield (UK).

Over the years I've had the privilege of collaborating with dozens of talented artists across a diverse range of genres, from Malevolence to newshapes, passing through The Rosadocs and RAY, helping to create hundreds of tracks that have collectively been streamed millions of times. My experience spans various settings, from my own studio in Kelham Island (Sheffield) to some of the most coveted studios such as Metropolis Studio A (London) and Decoy Studios (Ipswich).

I know that you spend an insane number of hours, days and weeks on your songs, shedding sweat, blood, strings and drumsticks. I also know that you now need to translate these results, into a one-of-a-kind, powerful release that will blow everybody's mind with what you created.

I know what it takes to turn your vision into a reality and create something truly remarkable so let me help you achieve that powerful sound you have in your head, let’s blow people’s minds together.

A broader snapshot
of my portfolio.

Clear, simple process.

Yes. Most projects are handled remotely with a simple workflow for file delivery, notes, revision rounds and approvals.

Mostly alternative, heavy, rock and emotionally driven music, but the real fit is artists who want identity and impact.

Performance feel comes first, then analogue colour and modern control, so the result stays bold without feeling overworked.

Absolutely. Production input early on usually creates the biggest gains in arrangement, sonics, transitions and impact.
